Happy Valentine's Day

Movin on, day's just keep going by! Seems like they go faster all the time. Valentine's Day will be here on Sunday! Wow the New Year is well under way! My next trip to Maine is set! I will be going to see Christy, Jason and the 4 grand children in Maine in mid April! Made my flight reservations today! Wish they were set a little sooner, I had to pay more this time then the last two times I went. They will be moving this time so I will be there to help out.
There will be several painting classes come up. We will be painting a clock in Donna's class(if it will ever be dry enough; we keep having snow)! Several of us our going to paint with Maureen McNaughton on the 25 of this month. Rosemary West will be coming to teach a class in March! I will have to miss a class in April with Naomi Brown so I can go to Maine, but I plan on doing one of those pieces on my own( I hope). May will be the Decorative Painter's Convention! I just got signed up for my classes today!!! Hopefully I will get the classes that I want! It will probably be a few weeks before I know which ones I got!
Work seems to be busy again! We kind of had a lull, but it has picked up. I worked an extra day last Fri.( something I haven't been doing much), but it was nice to be able to! It helped me catch up a little and we were short staffed due to some call in's! I may try and work a day extra here and there.
Brylee my grand daughter here is at a new day care! I really liked picking her up, but now it is a little difficult! I may have to figure out a way to just keep her all day some when I am off. She is cute and fun and very busy! Her birthday will be coming up in March! Two years old! She was just born and now she is going to be a big sister in May! I will have to keep posting on that one!

New Year

Here it is a new year and I am visiting my daughter and her family in Maine. In fact I have been here since the 15th and I will be going home tomorrow! I have had a wonderful time seeing all of them, but it will be nice to get back and see the rest of the family and friends. You don't realize how much you need all your family and friends until they are not available to you, either by death or just being displaced from your loved ones and friends for a short time. I miss my husband so very much! We are nearing the date of his death. Two years he will be gone and it still seems like he should walk around the corner anytime to greet me, hold my hand and tell me he loves me! Thank goodness I can still hear his words and see his face in my mind. I still wish he was here with us now. He would have loved visiting Maine.
This visit was a surprise for my daughter's birthdayand it was a surprise. My son in law and I have been plotting! Since Thanksgiving in fact! Everyone back home has known, and only one person in Maine found out. that would be my oldest grand daughter! She guessed! Of course she was pestering and prodding her dad to find out what he was getting her mom for her birthday! Such a smart and wonderful grand daughter! She kept the secret though and we pulled it off without a hitch! The look on Christy's face! Wow! Jason got it on camera. She is going to be a nurse anthesist and is going to school now. Very proud of her, you know!! Besides I probably would never have gotten to Maine if they didn't come up!

Well I am trying to start blogging again! I have difficulty knowing what to print into words. It has been just over a year since I blogged, but maybe I can get started.
Getting started blogging will hopefully help me! My husband passed away in April 2008 and it still feels like he shouldn't be gone! I miss him, and I wish he were here with us! I never realized how lonely it would be without him! Everything you do revolves around your other half and now my other half is missing. I think you can say it is getting better, everyone has told me it will get easier and I feel that it has. I am just still in limbo, not sure where and what I am to do next. Resetting my goals, to reflect what I want and need to do!?? There is a puzzle for me, not sure where that will lead.
It has been a busy year our daughter moved to Maine with her husband and four of our grandchildren. She is going to school and will be gone two and a half years. They are working hard to keep everything going in the new home! Missing them often, but calls are made frequently and my son -in-law is doing a great job keeping the pictures coming! Our daughter will be a Nurse Anethesist when she is through. Very Proud of Her!! I have been up once so far. In Oct. when the leaves changed just as it was starting to get cooler! It was wonderful and beautiful to see all the colors change. There will be several more trips I hope so I will work on keeping you posted.
My daughter-in-law has started back to school too! She is working toward being a Speech Therapist! She is doing a wonderful job with balancing school, a husband, a wonderful little girl and is expecting their second child in May! May will be a busy month!
